Wolfrace Alloy Wheels Feb 2017

Some Wolfrace alloy wheels manufactured or sold between 
4 weeks either side of February 2017 have been made with a faulty lacquer

It is not thought to affect wheels before or after these dates

The wheels are likely to be covered by a guarantee to replace the wheels after they have been inspected. 
Things like labour for fitting and removing the wheels will not be covered but postage will be if this 
is proven to be part of the batch.
Warranty Inspection  

Step 1 
Gather the details from the back of the alloys and send them to us. We need pictures of the reverse of the alloy where there are lots of codes and numbers. The wheel will need washing for best images.
Then send us pictures of the defect on the outside of the wheel.
There is no point in contacting us without this information from you as we are not Uri Geller and cant remove the wheels down the phone and bend spoons either !
Once we have this we match this to the purchase invoice and consignment note and pass this to Wolfrace. If Wolfrace agree its warranty move onto step 2. Note that by now we hope you have seen our other articles on here and extended your guarantee for free! 

Step 2 Inspection By Manufacturer 
The wheels like any warranty work whether its a TV, a car, a house a plane will need to be inspected. The issue affect approximately 40 sets of wheels of a specific serial number. If your set isn't of a specific serial number it will not be part of this.

1. Either drive to 
Wolfrace Wheels
 Galliford Rd, Heybridge, Maldon CM9 4XD
This is at the quickest way and means you won't be without wheels !
Its a great part of the world. If they agree 

2. Or ring up  and send your faulty wheels to the address above.
As soon as Wolfrace have inspected the faulty wheels they will post a a replacement set as soon 
as possible. This is the easiest if you live any distance away. If you need a set of steel wheels for a week to tide you over please contact us or better still ask on a forum for a set of loaners. 

3. or Speak to Wolfrace wheels and explain the issue and the dates.
Order a new set of wheels with Wolfrace 
When they have collected the old wheels you will be refunded as long as its warranty.
Its a bit risky as if they say no then you now have two sets of wheels.
